After the Rain

Erica and Emma strolling through the grassland near the Bannister's home.
The home of Tim and Diane Bannister, near the hillside of LuKenya, over looks a gorgeous open rolling countryside. The Bannister's share this patch of Kenya with an array of plains animals, including: gazelle, wildabeest, hartabeest, giraffe, ostridge, aardwolf, zebra and more.

Blogging is new to me. This is a wonderful tool! I am so much looking forward to sharing your blog with the children at Kidzplace at Grace Memorial in Fredericton. I'll give them the coordinates so they can check in on their own from home and let the moms and dads know in the bulletin how they can follow your new life in Kenya. Thank you for sharing. It is a great encouragement to us back in Canada. Julaine & George

Hello Julaine and George!

Thank you so much for sharing our story with the kids at Grace Memorial. We remember thefun we enjoyed with them during our visit. We had talked that night about the 40 tribes in Kenya and they might be interested in knowing that this was Komba land. The Komba people are wonderful agriculturalists. They are also wonderful singers and dancers. One of our partner churches in the ABC (African Brotherhood Church) and it is a Christian church founded by the Komba people.

On a different note. We visited a remote air strip here in LuKenya and I couldn't help but think of you George. They planes were old but in beautiful shape. No seaplanes sadly, but I think you would have liked them nonetheless.

Blessings,
Aaron & Erica
