Emma's Tea Party

This weekend was Emma's Tea Party for her friends in her Kindergarten class. Erica and Emma had the apartment beautifully decorated in pink hearts and roses. Six of her friends arrived in pretty dresses and enjoyed a Saturday afternoon of tea party games and sweet treats. The big game was "I would never marry the frog!", where the kids giggled through a circle song trying to escape the awful fate of becoming a frog's bride -- the afternoon was happily free of nuptials.

Looks like you guys are having a lot of fun! I am sure that Emma loved having a tea party! Your roses are beautiful and the apartment is decorated really nice. Wish we could see it in real life. We love you and pray for you continually. We know that you're in God's loving arms and we take great comfort in that! Have a wonderful day!

Love the roses...what a beautiful, fragrant gift from our Heavenly Father!! Enjoy dozens and dozens of them while you are in a country where they are grown for the world market and where the price is right!!!
It is such a delight to open up your blog and be able to keep in touch this way. Thank you for posting so frequently.
Blessings...Mungu analinda the Kenny's (that's a little Kiswahili for you to translate.)

Thanks so much for the comments!

The roses here in Kenya are magnificent! You can buy flowers (roses, lilies, sunflowers,.. you name it) from 50 to 100 ksh ($1 to $1.50 Cnd) per bunch (about 6 to 10 flowers). In Nairobi, there are roadside flower stands scattered everywhere -- they certainly add a touch of beauty of the city.

God Bless!
Love Aaron & Erica
