Back to Eastleigh!

We want to thank everyone who has been praying for our health. We are all feeling much better this week, including Kenan Carline.

Today we officially re-opened the Eastleigh Learning Centre under our new structure and programs. Without our old office staff, Erica, Paul and I had the adventure of running registration on our own. We could really tell that our first few months of language work has been paying off as we were able to pronounce and write the Somali names (That might not sound like much but you try pronouncing Xamud Caabdi Akriizak five times fast).

This week our Sharing way meetings for NEP will continue as Sam Mutysia returns from Rwanda and Ron & Joan Ward come to Nairobi. Please pray for us as we seek God's direction and wisdom for sustainable community development in the Somali communities where we have been called to serve together.

Hi Aaron, Erica, Tristan and Emma. Just catching up on your blog - lots of news and great pics since I last checked it out! Sounds like life is truly an amazing adventure. Hope you're all feeling better. Our Sunday School (Lambert's Cove) agreed on Sunday to take you guys on as Partners in Mission. I'll be bringing regular updates and hopefully, some of the kids will get involved in corresponding with Tristan and Emma.

It's March break here. Abbie is home for the week - well, sort of home. She left yesterday afternoon with the car and hasn't been back since. Judson is working in the woods some with Dale (cutting weir material) but it's -14 here today and very windy.

Well - I'll post this with warm thoughts and prayers for wisdom...

Lois

Hey Lois & Dale!

It is great to hear from you. It is wonderful news about the Lambert's Cove Sunday School taking us on as partners. Tristan and Emma would love to recieve letters/emails from the kids there and to write back and forth.

We will be thinking of Dale and Judson slogging it in the woods this week in the sub zero weather. Take care! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Love
Aaron & Erica

I'm glad you are all feeling better! Thanks for the postcard, it made our day!

I'm so impressed with your new language skills! At awana this month it is missionary month, so last week, when we introduced them to your family, we taught them a few words in Swahili. They thought that was pretty cool!

Have a great day! We love you all!

Autumn & Corey
